AZAV certification by TÜV Süd
In June 2017, TÜV Süd approved PMC Rail International Academy as an educational institution according to AZAV. The certification according to AZAV (approval of educational institutions and activities act) aims at improving job seekers’ integration into the labour market by promoting advanced training.
The goal of AZAV is to ensure the quality of further education offers for job seekers, thus improving the productivity and efficiency of the labour market’s promotion system sustainably. Any company wishing to offer such further education measures must be certified as an educational institution according to AZAV. The validity of a company’s qualification according to AZAV is limited in time and is reviewed once a year.
To obtain the certificate, PMC Rail took a mandatory examination following specified criteria. As a result, our company has been recognised as a further education and training institution for job seekers. The training offer allows job seekers to gain further qualifications and effectively prepares them for the reintegration into working life.
Antonio Intini, Managing Director of PMC Rail explains: “I am particularly pleased with the certification. It enables us to raise the trainees’ level of qualification and to contribute to a successful job search. This is a benefit to both the trainees and the companies in the railway industry, which can recruit additional qualified staff.”
To obtain the approval for the training measures, the individual courses will be presented to TÜV Süd in a next step. PMC Rail is looking forward to implementing the first courses promoted by AZAV as soon as the approval will have been obtained. The offer of promoted courses will be constantly expanded to provide job seekers with even more opportunities to obtain high-quality further education.
