Ready for grand opening - PMC Rail International Academy

On 21st May 2019 the time has come: The new training center of PMC Rail International Academy will be officially opened on the grounds of the Neue Bahnstadt Opladen in Leverkusen. At the Werkstaettenstraße, the Academy awaits a large number of national and international invited guests, including numerous industry experts, academic dignitaries from various universities, representatives of the press and guests from politics. The Federal Minister of Transport, Mr. Andreas Scheuer, is unfortunately not able to attend the event and is therefore replaced by the State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport, Dr. (PhD) Michael Guenthner.

The PMC Rail Team is looking forward to presenting the new premises to the public on this occasion. In the new training center approximately 1000 students are expected each year who can enjoy subject-specific seminars with state-of-the-art simulators and training facilities. The event will also be hosted by PMC Media, the specialist book publisher for the infrastructure industry, which is also relocating to the Neue Bahnstadt Opladen.

The guests of the opening ceremony can look forward to guided tours of the academy and presentations of the new facilities and teaching equipment. The program also includes podium discussions and keynotes by national and international industry specialists.
