Successful first trade show appearance for PMC Rail at iaf 2017
After being founded in April 2017, PMC Rail successfully participated at iaf 2017, the internationally leading trade show for track technology. Next to a presentation of the company as such and the main areas of focus in its training programme as well as in consulting, the 3D tamping simulators 09-3D and Unimat-3D were at the centre of attention.
The newly-founded company, independent of manufacturers, used the opportunity to present itself to the international specialist audience and to establish interesting new contacts. Antonio Intini and his team introduced the company and its main areas of work in many an interesting conversation with guests from around the world.
Particular attention was given to the three main areas of training: track, machine technology and functional training. The guests were most interested and encouraged by Mr. Intini to continue down the chosen path: “We saw that our concept of training and further education, independent of manufacturers, is being welcomed by the industry. I am particularly pleased with the high level of interest of many international visitors who intend to cooperate with us in the future!”
The visitors to the trade show booth also had the opportunity to test their tamping skills with the track tamping simulator 09-3D and the universal tamping simulator Unimat-3D. Both offer an operating environment based on the real machines and allow training under realistic conditions, but without the danger of damage to the infrastructure and resulting costs.
